Community Outreach

Objective

To organize activities and programmes that will make the Ummah healthier

  • The Community Outreach committee comprises of Muslim healthcare professionals who are passionate in extending health and medical care to the community. While the healthcare of Singapore has been excellent in general, there are still gaps whereby patients will need the assistance of healthcare professionals. 
  • We are forming a Nurse Befriender programme to assist patients in understanding their conditions.
  • This subcommittee also looks at overseas health missions and anything pertaining to the health of Muslims in the region. Recently the team went to Kelantan to assist the people who were displaced by severe flooding there.
